The Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI), a leading provider of critical decision support services for the global investment community, has announced the inclusion of three additional companies listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange Plc in the MSCI Frontier Markets Small Cap Index.
With Kenya Power, Carbacid, and Bamburi Cement joining the index, they are now listed alongside other notable companies such as British American Tobacco Kenya PLC, Diamond Trust Bank Kenya, Kenya Electricity Generating Company PLC, and Kenya Reinsurance Corporation.

This increased representation will offer the global investment community greater exposure to Kenya’s listed companies and drive significant capital inflows to NSE.”
The addition brings the total number of Companies listed on the NSE and incorporated in the MSCI Frontier Markets Small Cap Index to seven. This milestone marks a significant achievement for the NSE as it strengthens Kenya’s presence in the global investment landscape.
